Ed Series: So You're Dead...NOW WHAT?

Kim Bainbridge has been a parent advocate since 1989, when her son Justin was born with Down syndrome. She is passionate about helping parents when roadblocks in obtaining services for adults over 21 arise. This presentation aims to provide resources for parents to finish strong! These resources will guide parents when they can no longer care for their adult child. Topics discussed include Designee, Paperwork, Finances, Social Security/Medicare, Guardianship/POA, and Housing. This session is ideal for caregivers and anyone supporting someone with special needs over 25.
